Blount students and faculty delight and astonish one another with performances ranging from music to poetry to stand-up to the exhibition of visual art. Come and show off your talent!
RA Clayton Lawing will be working with the Avanti Staff to help Blount Residents work on their schedules. We will be focusing on helping students connect to advisors, MyBama, and DegreeWorks to create the perfect Fall 2018 schedule.
The Blount RAs will be creating a murder mystery event with our UAPD COP Officers White and Kern. Our residents will try to solve a variety of clues to figure out who killed who! Leaders will be: Cokie Thompson, Jalen Cates, Drew Grindley, Isabella Powell, Madeline Mattice, and Katherine Nordstrom. Dinner will be served.
The program will include painting a flower pot for earth day and giving the residents seeds to plant a flower in their room. There will be earth day related oreo/pudding "dirt" cups for snacks.
This program will include a space for residents to study. Tutors will be available from the Center for Academic Success or The Writing Center for the students to use as resources. There will be light refreshments such as coffee and donuts.
We want to help the residents start their dead week or finals week with a smile. We want them to know that we are here for them and we want to help the succeed. We want to give them something that they can use and give them words of encouragement and ways of relaxing during
