Convocation – “Redox-Auxiliary Catalysis. Developing A New Method for Activating Chemical Reactions”

We are developing a way of using electron removal from an appended redox group to activate reactions of neighboring functionality in a molecule. Current results include the creation of a norbornadiene-quadracyclane photo-electro recyclable solar fuel and azobenzene photo-electro nanomechanical switches.
