Throughout the month of February, Blount RA’s will give students information about UA’s campus, focusing on the Black experience. They will use Dr. Hilary Green’s Hallowed Grounds tour as a jumping off point and gather other history from faculty and staff on campus. These messages delivered through group me will be an opportunity for students to gain a basic understanding of UA’s complex history with race and racial justice. At the end of the month, RA Madison will hold a Kahoot night giving residents the opportunity to participate and compete based on the facts they were given throughout the month. Residents who sign up for the trivia night will receive a small goodie bag on their door with prewrapped candy and a pencil or other small treat. These would be delivered shortly before the program is scheduled to begin.
