There will be all kinds of tea and some lemonade to drink, and you can go an introduce yourself to the Blount 101 professors. Professors will be there to give some advice on their classes and get to know the students before the year starts.

Come and meet Officer Sumner and Officer Spencer. They will be there to help engrave and register personal items in case of theft and also talk about resources they can offer the residents. They are hosted by RA Michael Murphy. Cinnamon rolls provided.

The Blount Hunt will consist of a campus-wide scavenger hunt in which the residents team up with their floor and solve riddles to find common campus buildings and landmarks. There will be an ice cream social in the lobby when they return from the scavenger hunt.

RAs Katherine and Rachel have decided to bring the writing center into the dorm the night before the final major Blount essay is due. Writing center staff will be available to do last minute corrections and advisement for students so that their essays can fulfill their potential. There will be coffee and donuts provided.

RAs Jalen Cates and Vaughn Gingerich will partner with Deaf Hands Speak to teach the residents about sign language signs. By the end of the program, residents will be able to sign in order to ask for their food. Subway sandwiches will be provided.

In preparation for spring break, we will put on a general spring break safety game of bingo, partnering with URGE. We will be providing pizza.

RA Isabella would like to celebrate Black History Month by holding an African American Pop Culture Trivia night. We will play a fun game of jeopardy revolving around African American contributions to American pop culture. Food will be provided.

RA Katherine Nordstrom will host a trivia night. Trivia questions will include both popular culture and academic questions, so build your teams accordingly. All teams will be from the same floor as part of the "floor points" competition.  Cane's chicken fingers will be provided.
